Synced up great - got a reasonable number of conflicts. I open a conflict, correct the fields as indicated, but when I try to save the record I get the error message above. It will sync as many times as I want with the given credentials, but won't let me save changes to a conflict record.

Any suggestions??

That is definitely an odd error that I've never seen before. It sounds like a connection issue of some sort. Is it still giving you the same behavior today?

I have the same problem. I was working out some contacts conflicts and when I would save it would pop up with that message. I put in the password repeatedly and carefully and it was not incorrect. Still, I couldn't manage the conflicts without it telling me the password was wrong.

I deleted the app and reinstalled and it seems to work fine.

Now I have other weird problems, like telling it to sync specific groups to exclude "System Group: My Contacts" and it syncs "System Group: My Contacts" anyway. The settings are right. This worked last time when I had the password problem.

Oh and my contacts are all duplicated, now.

I deleted all the contacts on my phone, deleted and reinstalled sync in a blink, then set it up and synced all contacts from gmail. Then I went in and de-selected "System Group: My Contacts" and they didn't go away with another sync. So through the app I deleted the group "System Group: My Contacts" ... then synced and it stayed gone.

It appears simply removing the folder from the list of folders to sync doesn't remove it from the phone. You have to remove it through the "Manage Contact Groups" functionality.

All is well, now. :)
